Position Title Instructor - Computer and Network Security
Working Title
Job Summary The University of West Florida IT Academy is recruiting qualified individuals with relevant vendor certifications to deliver instruction in the UWF IT Academy. Classes vary in length and are offered throughout the year in the evenings. The applicant must teach a minimum of three classes per year.

Work location is both the Pensacola Campus and the Fort Walton Beach Campus.

Note: This job posting is always open for the collection of applications. Applicants may or may not be contacted depending on university needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 2 yrs experience in real-world networking or programming is expected. Training experience in a classroom environment and A+ computer hardware instruction are preferable. Instructors with the following certifications are preferred: Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Server 2008, Network +, and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).

Salary Range $3,000 - 6,000 per course
FTE varies
